Today we got to visit the temple, the Draper temple that is. It was the open house, and we just happened to get tickets! Lucky us!! Well anyway, most of my friends have gone, or are going to go in March. They all said that it was so beautiful. Dads friends said the cookies at the end are good. That threw me off a little. Wait my sixth grade friends say that something is so beautiful and very spiritual and my dads friends are saying they liked the cookies!!! Yeah that was a little weird. Anyway, we parked at a parking lot the went to the relief society room for a while we just sat and then we watched a little movie about temples. Then we got on a bus and our top speed was like 2.5 miles per hour. I'm not even kidding!! The driver was so slow. Anyway (does it seem like I say anyway a lot to you?) anyway, I mean then we went to the temple parking lot, we then walked a while in the cold and we about froze to death, except when we passed the little heaters. Once we went inside, we went and walked until we got to the baptismal font. It was really big and the detail was amazing! The little wheat growing out by the oxen, wow! then we moved on to the next level, the ordinance rooms. There were a lot and we got to go in one. It was enormous! Then we got to go to the sealing room. It was so beautiful. It had a big chandler and then two mirrors on opposite sides of wall. They reflected off each other and that represented everlasting life. Our last stop was the celestial room. We got to sit down a little and think about it. Everyones head was turned up at the chandalere, which is supposed to represent heavenward. After that we walked outside some more and then ended up in a gym. There were big paintings and lot of then. there was also a list of some of the temples, and a map of the world showing where all the temples in the world are. The cookies were really good too, just like dads friends said! After that we went to Astro Burger and ate. It was way good. And that was our day.
